This positionis for an experienced Architecture/Engineering/Construction(A/E/C) industry-specific Client Development professional who hasdetailed FAA project experience. We share your passion.Essential Role and Responsibilities:Lead safety efforts for team and ensure team follows safety rules andpractices. Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment;demonstrates safety practices. Promote pre-task planning for all activitiesrelated to client development and marketingOversee, lead and manage the client development efforts for aviationconsulting in the Western Operating Group.Position Terracon on Airport Planning and Engineering Consulting multi-yearcontractsPracticed understanding and ability to communicate the Federal AviationAdministration's (FAA's) standards on design, engineering, andconstruction. Standards include; airport inventory and forecasting,guidance for airfield pavement, financial feasibility and implementationplans, airport visual aids, FAA safety standards during construction,GIS data, aviation facility requirements, and bird radar and foreignobject detDevelop and attend client meetings weekly (virtual or face-to-face)Lead the relationship building process by articulating how Terracon's teamand services can provide value and close business opportunitiesProvide transparent client development leadership. This would include trackingand reporting of key market information, facilitating strategy meetings,motivating and training others in the art of client development and the majorproject pursuit process, managing key client relationships, manageprofessional organization memberships, and networkingAssist in Client Development Blitzes in other markets in Terracon's WesternOperating Group, as necessaryOversee the process of reporting client development results. This includesclient and project pursuits, RFPs/RFQs, proposals, key wins andlosses, industry activities and other general client development andmarketing responsibilitiesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering, earth sciences, business, marketingor related degree and 8-10 years' related A/E/C Aviation-centered clientdevelopment experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 yearsrelated A/E/C Aviation-centered client development experienceCandidate must possess direct knowledge and be able to articulate theirexperience in the following areas:General understanding of aviation-specific environmental and natural c
