Senior RF Test Engineer – Tactical Solutions SEIT
What you’ll do:
•Support development, qualification, and transition efforts for RF antenna, system, and sub system programs.
•Test planning: ◦Serve as the test expert on integrated teams tasked with delivering customer hardware.
◦Interface with systems engineering, design, QA, program management, customers, and other disciplines as required for successful execution of tasks.
◦Develop test plans and procedures.
◦Design and develop tools required for testing and data analysis
◦Support and present test deliverable status during PDR’s and CDR’s.
◦Develop and present Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
•Test execution: ◦Own ESS, ATP and Qualification test efforts (thermal, vibration, RF, VSWR, etc.)
◦Coordinate and schedule facilities and lab utilization.
◦Maintain test equipment and fixtures,
◦Manage teams and orchestrate parallel efforts as required.
◦Perform data analyses and generate test reports.
◦Support customer technical meetings as required.
•Support proposal efforts.
•Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
•Perform other duties as necessary.
What you’ll need:
•BS degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field is required plus 8 or more years related experience.
•Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
•Experience with test design and test execution is required.
•Experience with RF testing and RF test equipment is required.
•Desire to support tactical programs.
•RF Range testing experience is a plus.
•Current Secret security clearance is required.
•Advanced computer application skills, such as Matlab, Python, C, C++, IDL, STK, DOORS, and other analytical tools is a strong plus.
•Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to understand the customer's needs and provide clear communication of proposed solutions to both Ball management and the customer.
•Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
•May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
•May access other facilities in various weather conditions.
•Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Current Clearance Required:
Verification that your current security clearance or government customer access meets the requirement for this position will be required.

Compensation & Benefits
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $120,500 - $152,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
