Coordinate the preparation of proposals as assigned with external andinternal partners in accordance with Granite processes and procedures toensure the resulting submission satisfies all relevant criteria whilepresenting Granite in the best possible manner. If required, willassist/manage proposal development from start to submission.2. Write and/or edit proposals as required to ensure that the resultingsubmission is accurate and in compliance as well as ensuring that Granite ispresented in the best possible manner. Coordinate with Risk Managementthroughout the proposal cycle.3. Maintain proposal and opportunities databases as assigned to ensure data isaccurate, up to date and available on an as needed basis.4. Prepare material and presenters for both internal and externalpresentations (PowerPoint)5. Participate in client debriefings on both successful and unsuccessfulpursuits & prepare summaries to ensure continuous improvement on futureproposals6. Prepare marketing materials as requestedQualificationsEducation* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or SimilarField preferredWork Experience* Five (5) years prior professional experience in technical writingand/or proposal preparation required.* Prior experience in construction or engineering proposal preparationdesirableKnowledge, skills, and abilities* Ability to coordinate and manage personnel who are not direct reportsthrough influence* Superior technical writing skills* InDesign and graphics proficiency a must* Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)* Highly organized* Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Works well independently or in a team environment* Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines* Ability to work effectively and efficiently in an unfamiliar environmentPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by
