Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for the design,performance tuning, and troubleshooting of vehicle based guidance systems.Most of these project will be driving them all the way to market. Thisincludes mechanical, hydraulic and cabling solutions, as well as,in-house testing, managing field testing, and driving the product tomarket. The candidate must be able to communicate with firmware engineers,operations, FAE s, dealers, customers and suppliers. Domestic andinternational travel will be required. Key Responsibilities Design aftermarket vehicle interface solutions for a variety of precisionguidance product lines. Generate part solid models, part drawings, BOM s, tuning profilesand installation documentation for the associated platform kits. Ensure that Ag products, equipment interfaces and performance meet thelocal market needs and expectations. Required Skills and Experience BSME with 5+ years experience or equivalent Familiar with operations and functions of heavy equipment/machinery,preferably Agricultural Working knowledge of Creo Must be self-motivated and able to work outside of an office environment Some knowledge or understanding of hydraulic or electronic systemsinstrumentation and measurements Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills Must have effective decision making, planning and collaborative problemsolving skills - A customer-first team player with solid organizational skills Need to be tech savvy and comfortable learning new computerapplications Nice-to-Have Skills or Experience Direct experience in precision agriculture is a huge plus Direct experience with GNSS based systems a plus Knowledge of commercial farming practices and techniques is a plus Trimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering productsand services that connect the physical and digital worlds.
