Work with programs supported for applied research and technologyin an advanced networking and communication organization that supports U.S.Government DoD, Civilian, and Advanced Programs communities.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee and manage multiple programs and customers concurrently whilepreparing regular status reports as required by the businessPerform market assessments and review market data to determine productdirection for both existing and new products. Potentially identify completelynew lines of business to approach.Participate in business unit strategic planning and apply strategic directionsto the definitions of new and existing products.Plan and schedule project commitments and coordinate staff member assignmentsProvide team leadership and critical review for assigned projectsMentor and advise less-senior product and program management staff on anad-hoc basis.Develop business plans, pricing and go-to-market strategies for a variety ofLGS hardware and software productsCoordinate technical solutions for customer requirements and communicate withthe customer regarding solutions and product plansCreate product strategies and roadmaps working with engineering andarchitecture functionsPartner with business development, systems engineering, and other programmanagers to define and develop new products and solutionsWork regularly with engineering teams to prioritize work, clarify productrequirements and provide frequent communication to all stakeholdersManage business cases and accurate forecasts of revenues and expenditures,recommend incremental investments and use forecasts to drive appropriateinvestment in inventoryEnsemble product materials (documentation, brochures, presentations,etc.) to enable partners and business development staff to drive customerinterCoordinate with both internal and external suppliers and partners to ensuremeeting schedules and cost constraintsTravel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessaryUnderstand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policiesProactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policiesand proceduresPerform other duties as requiredIf required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the levelrequired to perform the duties of the positionSkills and Knowledge:Strong interpersonal skills to provide customer focused leadership in thedelivery of technically complex solutions with a highly skilled teamInterface with both corporate and government management to facilitatesolutions that meet multiple demands and prioritiesDemonstrated ability in managing challenging customer engagementsWorking knowledge of "start-up" business modelsExperience with managing government programs and multi-discipline technicalteamsUnderstands Program Management techniques and ability to successfully managemultiple programs to completionKnowledge of digital signal processing, wireless communications, andembedded platformsProficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel and Word and working knowledge ofall Microsoft software applications and other software applications asrequiredMinimum QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, orPhysics and 8-10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of
