Tetra Tech invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity within our Superior, Colorado office as a/n Principal Engineer.
The position will include support Tetra Tech’s business development initiatives, managing regional and national accounts, providing technical leadership on a variety of environmental projects.
Typical tasks may include management of technically complex projects with budgets up to $5M, compilation and presentation of technical data to clients and senior management, directing multi-disciplinary teams, and preparing cost estimates and tracking budgets.
Travel is to be expected.
15 - 20 years of previous experience.
40-hour HAZWOPER trained preferred.
The candidate must be self-directed and have a successful track record with commercial industrial clients in development and execution of their projects.
Must have strong computer skills, including comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Attention to detail, strong oral/written communication skills, and an ability to quickly learn new skills are required.
Should have a working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA. Should have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Candidate must have strong technical writing skills.
Undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related field.
MS degree preferred.
Licensed P.E. is required.
