POSITION: Advanced Manufacturing Program ManagerDUTIES: Advanced Manufacturing Program Manager designs and developsmanufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost andschedule requirements at all functions of the business. The role develops anddefines concepts and processes for, and integral to, new product andproduct enhancement programs as well as coordinates and integrates specializedprocesses and techniques into a Lean manufacturing environment.* Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as anintegral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancementprograms, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM/DFA (Designfor Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production,Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology.* Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturingprocesses and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of themanufacturing operations and business systems.* Develop manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements and costs,capability requirements, control plans, and assessments, whichfacilitate the definition and specification of the manufacturing processes.* Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution ofmanufacturing process and product design problems.
