Aerotek Quality Engineer II in Louisville, Colorado
Description:
Develop Inspection work instructions for precision measurement on aircraft sized product, defining steps, datum selection and location , and measurement, documentation and tolerance evaluation of Engineering Drawing requirements
Monitor and verify accuracy and consistency of setups to address; thermal affect and structural movement
Authority for interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Feeding inputs into production schedule on planned inspections
Generates time standards and resource plans for needed inspection resources Authority for acceptable errors for inspection and fit reliability assessments to verify requirements are met
Responsible for digital inspection training/qualification/operation procedures Coordinates inspection of critical tooling re-validations
Responsible for equipment acquisition and software coordination and planning
Monitor industry for latest releases, new technology
Serves as authority for inspection review and data analysis
Expert in the inspection software and tools utilized

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. Degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
Experience in aerospace industry preferred
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Quality Engineering
In depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and applicable Military Specifications and Standards
