Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to lead large teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. As a key member of the North America DX organisation, you will work with the latest and rapidly evolving digital technologies on Oracle Cloud. As a recognised authority and senior contributor within Oracle Consulting, you will provide market leading innovative end to end solutions, designs and thought leadership to project teams.
As an Experience Design Lead, you will elicit and articulate customer innovation and design requirements. You will design and develop lo- and high-fidelity prototypes and guide stakeholders in solution development and selection. You will advocate agile methodologies and ensure alignment to user experience principals and best practices. You will guide, coach and support designers and developers in best practice agile solution delivery. You will implement a continuous improvement approach with Oracle teams and customers.
Knowledge and Competencies:
Lead end-users and project stakeholder interviews, focus groups, workshops and testing sessions
Assist in the production of relevant UX documentation such as research findings reports, personas, journey maps, etc.
Apply innovative and conceptual thinking to create appropriate digital solutions across multiple platforms, whilst skilfully blending user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
Constantly apply user-centred design methodologies, thus ensuring the solutions are based on real customer needs.
Communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed designs and rationales both verbally and visually.
Effectively present ideas and concepts in tangible forms such as storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc to a wide audience such as business stakeholders, developers, architects, product owners, etc.
Create intuitive and responsive wireframes, low and hi fidelity designs and prototypes. Basic ability to create and analyse a range of UX deliverables such as user flows, information architecture diagrams, task flows, conversational design etc.
Maintain and advocate the latest design trends and practices. Influence others to change their perceptions in a positive, creative and respectful way. Use a wide variety of interpersonal styles and approaches to influence others.
Create truly engaging visual designs that effectively blend the latest design trends and practices, focus on usability and creatively follow existing visual guidelines.

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:
7-10 years of industry experience (agency and/or client-side) in User Experience Design/Interaction Design with a consistent record of success.
Familiarity with the most up to date cloud technologies. You understand the capabilities and limits of technology solutions to deliver the most appropriate user experience and can manage customer expectations, keeping them focused on effective, yet feasible and viable solutions. Oracle Cloud experience preferred.
You have extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end experience architecture and design (from research to journey mapping, experience/interactive design, iterative design cycles, prototyping, user testing and delivery). You will also need to showcase your innate ability to innovate and disrupt the status quo in the post-PC world.
Proven ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centric design process.
You feel at home working in multidisciplinary and are comfortable engaging with and guiding stakeholders across multiple business domains. You have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships with both internal team members and customers.
Proficient in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and other tools and platforms associated with the industry.
You evangelize human-centric design principals and are able to articulate fundamental concepts and value of design to uninitiated audiences. You will possess a deep understanding in related creative tracks: visual design, development, copywriting and content strategy
You will possess a good understanding in related creative tracks such as development, copywriting and content creation.
You have several years experience with experience strategy, development and delivery, functional and/or technical consulting, business consulting. Prior team leadership or management experience is preferred.
You are comfortable engaging and have experience guiding stakeholders across multiple business domains including Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Sales, Marketing and Information Technology.
You feel at home working in multidisciplinary teams and are a native Agile advocate with an extensive experience in lean development, continuous delivery, DevOps, etc. You are confortable with design-in-code methodologies and practices.
You have strong verbal and written communications skills. Preferably experience writing and publishing research briefs, white papers and blogs, vlogs, etc.
