Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring a set up Amada CNC Laser Operator for a fast growing company with over 20 years specializing in building custom self service kiosks in Louisville, Colorado.
2nd Shift: M-F 1:30pm-10:00pm
Starting pay is $15 to $19/hour depending on experience

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Download programs at AMADA controller.
Adjust cutting conditions as needed to obtain quality parts.
Run production quantities of sheet metal parts.
Insure that all safety criteria is met.
Use Calipers and Height Gages to inspect parts.
Work with supervisors to assist with scheduling of jobs.
Troubleshoot problems that occur while running jobs.
Coordinate with operators to maximize machine run times.
2-3 YEARS minimum experience setting up Amada CNC Lasers.
Must be familiar with running materials such as steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and stainless steel
Must be proficient at making adjustments to cutting conditions.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Must know how to use measuring tools such as Calipers, Micrometers and Height Gages.
Employee is regularly exposed to vibration, moderate noise levels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, including stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching. Frequently using hands, handle or feel objects, tools, controls to climb or balance. Must be willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Will frequently and repetitively be able to lift 50 lbs.
