Oracle Architect/Product Development Program Manager, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development in Louisville, Colorado

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Oracle’s extensive enterprise customer base is looking for rock-solid cloud solutions that provide the same reliability and effectiveness that they have come to expect from Oracle. We have passed the early stages of providing highly cost effective IaaS, & PaaS Cloud solutions to our customer base; and are rapidly growing our customer base and offerings.

We are specifically looking for an experienced Technical Architect, Developer, or Program Manager with past exposure to Information Security, Operations, Development and Compliance to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Group. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs that will support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure product offerings and the ability of customers to quickly and easily obtain compliance certification of their OCI environments.

Architect/Product Development Program Manager

This role is part of the Customer Compliance Product Management team developing and maintaining programs within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure group and extending out to customers. Working with multiple teams within the organization, you will help drive the Customer Compliance mission and team by using your expertise in Program Management, Software and Service Development, Information Security, and Compliance Requirements in order to build tools that can be implemented by customers to create compliant environments built on OCI. Engagements are typically with other technical program managers, development teams, subject matter experts and team managers on projects in varying stages of the design, implementation, and release process. This role includes reporting up and out to executives and senior management.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent

  • 7 years related experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Cloud IT processes and Cloud IT infrastructure

  • Experience successfully developing and releasing software, preferably as a cloud service

  • Passing knowledge of Information Security and Compliance

  • Proven ability to combine business acumen, technical acumen and process expertise to define client (internal/external) engagement and program execution

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through cross-functional virtual teams

  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive schedules

  • Strong bias toward action, flexible, resourceful, and able to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation written, email)

  • Positive attitude, team player, self-starter; takes initiative, ability to work independently

  • Display a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically

  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
