Lockheed Martin Analog and Power Electronics Design Engineer in Louisville, Colorado

Description: Lockheed Martin Coherent Technologies requires a electronics engineer to perform detailed design for analog circuits for laser, imaging, and electro-optic systems. Will perform analog electronics design and analysis, and integration and test activities. The position is in a highly dynamic, high-energy research-oriented organization developing innovative capabilities. Thus the candidate would be expected to perform a wide variety of design, analysis, integration, and laboratory tasks in the area of electronics design supporting electro-optic and/or laser systems.

The tasks are anticipated to include architecture development, algorithms, simulation, detailed design, documentation, verification, and integration and test disciplines. The position is in a collegial, highly dynamic, high-energy, research-oriented organization developing innovative technologies. The Engineer is expected to perform a very wide variety of tasks throughout the program life-cycle.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Experience in the design of analog and power circuits. Expertise in modeling and analysis tools such as OrCAD PSpice.

Desired Skills:

Flight electronics design, control systems theory and design, LabVIEW, MatLab, C++software. Worst Case Analysis. Experience developing electro-optic and laser systems. Experience working in a rapid prototyping/R&D-oriented environment where there is an expectation that designs will be quickly developed and built to support early proof of concept testing -- while also making sure that the design has a defined path to support later production/flight use.

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance required for this role.
