Pay: $34.00-$38.00/hr. DOE

Kelly Services is seeking a Test Engineer for one of our customers in the Longmont area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or an engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join an exciting and growing organization.

Main Responsibilities of Job:

  • Support component testing with an emphasis on mechanical, thermal and vacuum testing.

  • Utilizing a top level test plan and customer specifications, the Test Engineer will be responsible for supporting generation of well written test plans (vibration, electrical, etc) for all phases of testing.

  • Perform testing utilizing test procedures for all phases of testing.

  • Attend internal and customer meetings to support program testing activities (assume the “responsible engineer” role during the testing phase of the program).

  • Support data interpretation and reduction jointly with the lead Project Engineer.

  • Ensure test documentation is compliant to customer specifications.

  • Generate test reports for all phases of battery testing.

  • Participate in investigations, resolutions, and product improvement meeting.

  • Report directly to the Test Manager.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, math, or physics (Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical are preferred).

  • Some test experience as well as writing testing procedures. There will be a lot of documentation in this role.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work within a close knit team to strict deadlines.

  • Aerospace test industry specific experience preferred with emphasis on dynamic testing.

  • Experience with OrCAD or other electrical design tools is preferred.

  • “Off” hours or weekend support may be required at times
