182208 Staff Engineer (Open)Seagate is looking for a Staff Engineer for our office in Longmont, CO. Inthis role, you will help drive the quality validation and reliabilitymaturity for Seagate Enterprise Data Solutions.Your Responsibilities will include:communicate and resolve concerns with documented and undocumented customerrequirements and expectations.Operation in all phases of the product life cycle, understand thedeliverables and understand key upstream dependencies.Execution of program level product needs.Drive assessment, measurement and validation for each new programMust ensure that the voice of quality is represented and executed to in eachphase of the product life cycleAttend design reviews, reviews engineering changes (ECO)identify gaps and drive gaps to closure with priority focus on design andreliability changesAssess quality and reliability maturity in each PLC phaseDevelops metrics to drive quality/reliability into the product life cycleand drive closure plans to identified gaps (milestone criteria)Your Qualifications Include:Experience in quality/reliability engineering, test engineering or designengineering roles for highly complex systemsExperience in all phases of the product life cycle including (but notlimited to): engineering design, development, manufacturingUnderstanding of how to incorporate real time data into decision makingExperience in testing and/or design preferredMust be able to communicate in front of large teamsBachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or relevant work experienceJob Family: Engineering ProfessionalSeagate Technology is committed to equal opportunity in employment andwelcomes applications from all sections of the community, irrespective ofsex, marital status, religious affiliation, age, disability, veteranstatus, or ethnic origin
