Aerotek Quality Technician in Longmont, Colorado

Description:

• Program CMM using PCDIMS program to measure variety of characteristics on engineering drawings • Work efficiently to ensure product for incoming inspection is properly evaluated prior to production use and able to meet timelines. • Document all work completed in a simple but easy to read format. • Ensure all documentation is maintained up to date when engineering makes engineering changes • Recognize and drive continual improvement within their scope of work.

CMM, technician, quality, pc-dmis, metrology

Top Skills Details:

• Experience with CMM and ability to program using PCDIMS to inspect product. • Previous experience in an automotive quality metrology lab or other highly regulated manufacturing lab required • Familiarity with GD&T dimensions and measurements • Experience with tools: CMM, Optical Comparator, micrometers, ring gages, thread gages, depth mics, height gages etc. to ensure product meets specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Metrology experience would be preferred
