Lockheed Martin Test Engineer in Littleton, Colorado
Test Lead position for ATLO Test Labs and Services (ATLS) for supporting program component hardware qualification and acceptance. This candidate will be deployed to programs to ensure continuity through the hardware test phase and manage the transition of products through test and into ATLO for assembly, integration and test. The Test lead will coordinate and oversee the program component test activities at Denver ATLS test facilities to ensure that hardware safety, test requirements, schedule and budget commitments are satisfied. This effort includes oversight of test fixture design, fabrication, and procurement in support of program test objectives. Coordinate test preparation and execution within the laboratories, monitor labor/budget planning, procedures, design and test readiness reviews, test oversight, test reports, and test anomaly resolution. Work with the manufacturing counterpart to coordinate test hardware readiness and delivery to the test labs. The test lead will coordinate the development and release of all detailed test plans, requirements and supporting engineering from program into the labs. Establish and cultivate relationships with program and functional leadership to ensure achievement of LOB objectives. Participate in Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and Pre Ship Reviews.
Basic Qualifications Demonstrated strong expertise in test operation activities. Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills. Proven hardware test programs experience. Successful background with Affordability and producibility initiatives. Must have EPDM, and CREO domain knowledge and be a Certified Test Conductor (CTC). Accomplished in successfully taking designs through Manufacturing and Test efficiently. Strong Communication & FSL skills. Knowledge of test processes and documentation including planning, fixture design, and assembly. Knowledge of other engineering disciplines such as stress, dynamics, thermal analysis, production, ATLO, systems engineering, etc. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Desired skills Hardware development planning. Involvement with Employee Engagement Initiatives. Experience using EPDM, Familiarity with Lockheed Martin specifications/tools/procedures, Experience working with internal/external suppliers, Knowledge of composite structure/mechanism design and fabrication, Experience with SharePoint, Technical leadership experience.
