Lockheed Martin Stress & Dynamics Engineer in Littleton, Colorado
Description: The Dynamics / Stress Design Engineer / Analyst will be responsible for:
Performing preliminary and detailed level dynamics & stress analysis and design of aerospace electronic components, spacecraft structures, and test fixturing using standardized processes and tools. Providing stress & dynamics technical memos and input to data packages to support peer and customer reviews.
Presenting resultant stress & dynamics design and analysis data to the product team.
Providing test input/instrumentation data to environmental test personnel and collaborating with lead engineering personnel to interpret/correlate static and dynamic test results. Understanding and incorporating other applicable mechanical (thermal, materials, etc.) and system level requirements/parameters into the stress and dynamics analyses. Develop weight-optimized, compliant flightworthy components and structural assemblies which satisfy the contractural design criteria as well as any producibility requirements defined by Manufacturing and Quality.
Desired Skills: Advanced Static / Dynamic and/or non-linear analysis experience. NX Nastran experience, spacecraft, antenna, and/or component analysis experience, experience with DVPRO tool set for pre & post-processing NASTRAN output. CREO experience. Vibration, acoustic, modal, shock test experience of aerospace flight hardware.
