Join the Lockheed Martin Special Test Equipment (STE) team that supports the RAPTOR spacecraft avionics platform for interplanetary, Low-Earth Orbit and Geostationary Orbit space missions, building test racks that checkout flight hardware prior to spacecraft integration.

Ours is a critical mission, where you will join an engineering team that is going through:

• Requirements derivation

• Reviews Engineering release (Specifications, ICDs, Schematics, Engineering Drawings, P/Ls, Procedures, etc)

• Development & qualification

• Requirement

• Production

• Data review

• Troubleshooting

• Issue resolution

• Integration

• Performance validation.

This work will be done at the module and subsystem, hardware (Unit/Assembly) level.


• Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware.

• 5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.

• You are willing to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.


• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Electrical or Electronics program or other closely related discipline.

• Experience in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.

• HDL programming experience with VHDL or Verilog.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

• Experience in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.

• HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.

Desired Skills:

• Experience or coursework in HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.

• Experience or coursework in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.

• Experience or coursework in the verification of FPGA and/or ASIC devices.

• Experience or coursework with modern verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM or VMM.

• Experience or coursework with LabVIEW, MatLab.
