Lockheed Martin Senior Process Engineer in Littleton, Colorado

Description: The Production Engineering and Processes (PEP) organization is responsible for providing critical support to Production Operations to ensure delivery of hardware to our Space Program customers. The primary deliverable will be high quality, affordable process documents to the manufacturing shops for use in hardware fabrication. Develops Process Instruction documents driven by engineering requirements for manufacturing processes such as soldering, cleaning, staking, potting, conformal coat, cable and harness assembly. Evaluation and influence of process technical requirements will support success. Other responsibilities include leading process validations, supporting process improvement activities and building effective relationships with our supporting organization and customer partners to drive Production Operations to be best in class. Developing working relationships with multi-disciplined, geographically diverse teams is critical to effectively and efficiently plan and execute.

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Desired Skills: Certified Greenbelt or Blackbelt.

Parts, Materials & Process (PMP) Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (ME) experience related to manufacturing processes.

Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements to drive affordability.

Experience with VE CAMS

Experience using SAP, EPDM, PMP Database, etc.


Experience generating work or process instructions or procedures.

Electronic, harness or RF manufacturing shop floor experience.

Experience in Microsoft Office Software applications.

Demonstrated root cause and corrective action resolution experience.

Ability to positively interact and build effective relationships with supporting organizations and customers.

Must be able to work in a virtual team environment.

The proven ability to communicate in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure, and

delivers information in a clear and concise manner.
