Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for an experienced structural engineer tojoin our Existing Building Services group in the Lakewood, Colorado office.We are seeking to add a structural engineer who will work for various projectmanagers on a multitude of project types within the investigative team. Thesuccessful candidate will primarily work with our Building Envelope team withopportunities to gain expertise in other areas of investigative engineeringincluding forensic analysis, historic preservation, non-destructivetesting, fall protection, seismic retrofit, building repair and remodel work.The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of engineers andtechnicians who work on many interesting and challenging investigativeprojects developing expertise in the rapidly expanding building envelopemarket segment. The individual will also develop expertise in a broad range ofinvestigative engineering segments in and around the Rocky Mountain region.Required Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Architectural or Civil EngineeringHas EIT certification or currently registered as a Professional Engineer inColoradothree to six years of progressive structural engineering experienceStrong knowledge of building and design codesStrong work ethic with excellent time-management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods of timeDemonstrates a strong commitment to continued personal growth and developmentin all aspects of their workGood written and verbal communication skillsCommitted to client-service and a team-based approachDesired Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to design, detail, coordinate, and model projectsRevit literate in producing plan work, details, notes, and general editingCapable of working from scaffolding and lifts at elevated heights.Knowledge of construction standards and practices.About Martin/Martin:Martin/Martin, Inc. is a full-service civil and structural engineering andsurveying firm, operating from Colorado since the 1940s.
