Golder is currently seeking a Project Manager -Pipeline Environmental Planning & Permitting to join our community of high performing engineers, scientists, and business professionals with a focus on the oil and gas sector. This is an immediate full-time opportunity open at our Lakewood, CO office.

Yourprimary responsibilities will include:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a sustainable Environmental Planning and Permitting (EP&P) business for pipelines and linear projects in the Western United States. A key function of this role involves direct interaction with clients, and with other Golder technical specialists in various offices around the Golder group of companies.

  • Serve as a projectmanager in the EP&P business across the life cycle of project work: problemdefinition, solution development, and delivery.

  • Lead and/orsupport project development and delivery (proposals, project management,client relations, senior reviews, team development and training);

  • Maintain, grow, anddevelop existing and new client relationships;

  • Work to build businessopportunities with other Golder staff around the company;

  • Arrange technicalpresentations and webinars in your area(s) of expertise;

  • Work with Principals andAssociates to develop and maintain expertise in technologies to serve keybusiness interests; and

  • Contribute to a cultureof health, safety and protection of the environment by being a role model tojunior and new staff and by giving industry and site perspectives toinexperienced staff which are crucial to make safety and contribute to thedevelopment, streamlining and automation of safety related documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master’sof Science degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related discipline;

  • At least 10 years'relevant EP&P experience, preferably in a consulting capacity combined withoperational planning experience;

  • Direct projectexperience with NEPA, FERC, Clean Water Act (Section 401, 402, 404) permitting,and USFWS Section 7 consultation related to pipelines and linear projects.

  • Business development andclient service management skills with a proven track record of developing projectopportunities and maintaining successful client relationships; strong existingclient relationships and professional contacts are highly desirable;

  • Have previous experiencemanaging projects and preparing technical reports;

  • Acute attention todetail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies;

  • Have a good aptitude forusing and understanding computer applications; and

  • Have excellentcommunication and report writing skills.
