Aerotek Process Mechanical Designer in Lakewood, Colorado
Seeking Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Engineer with experience in building design and Revit/BIM. Candidates should understand process mechanical design, such as equipment, piping, valves, and accessories. Ideal experience with large scale industrial or water/waste water projects.
Looking for a Process Mechanical Designer w/ Revit/BIM experience. Must have between 5-15 years and experience working on large industrial projects.

Job requirements and expectations:
-Develop Process Mechanical Revit models.
-Coordinate model development with other disciplines to prevent conflicts.
-Perform clash detection at submittal milestones and resolve clashes.
-Manage and supervise the production of Process Mechanical contract drawings.
-Ensure designs comply with Process Mechanical codes and standards.
-Ensure compliance with the Hazen’s and/or client BIM standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
-7-10 years of Process Mechanical design experience required.
-Design experience with Water and/or Wastewater projects desirable.
-Engineering/Architectural Technology Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Engineering/Architectural Technology Associate’s degree will be considered.
-Strong Revit modeling skills required.
-Visualization software experience preferred.
-Advanced knowledge of Process Mechanical systems (equipment, piping, valves, accessories, and supports) required.
-Familiarity with Process Mechanical codes and standards is desirable for Ductile Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel, PVC, CPVC pipe, fittings and associated appurtenances.
-Self-starter with attention to detail and experience collaborating across disciplines.
