CMWC is focused on providing quality, clean and safedomestic water service economically.CMWC owns and operates a complex water system consisting of a raw waterdelivery and storage systems as well as a potable water treatment facility,a distribution system with approximately 23,000 service connections and 400miles of water mains, and a 27-square mile service area.This is a multi-faceted engineering position that offers significant varietyin projects every day, and in general as a CMWC Project Engineering, youwill be a member of the Engineering Department which supports various groupswithin Company. The Engineering Department is a small team of dedicatedprofessionals who ensures CMWC s infrastructure is planned, designed andmapped appropriately. Further, the Engineering Department performsplanning, modeling, data analysis, design and plan preparation forCMWC s water infrastructure.If you re an engineer looking for new opportunities and challenges thatarise daily, and you re passionate about being a valued member of ourengineering team CMWC wants you!Requirements:A Bachelor of Science degree or post-graduate degree from an ABET accreditedinstitution in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Water Resources,Hydraulic Engineering, Project Management or related engineering disciplinesis highly preferred but not required. equivalent experience may be substituted Professional Engineer, licensed in the State of Colorado is desirable but not required. 5 to 10 years of experience working in water infrastructure design. Familiar with Denver Water specifications, details and plan creation and submittal process. A strong interest in the design and analysis of water distribution systems. Previous experience with land development infrastructure plan development is preferred. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D is required.
