We have an outstanding opportunity withsomeone with key leadership skills to help us continue on with this traditionas our Operations Leader for our Colorado group.Detailed Description:This exciting leadership position is based in our Lakewood, CO who will becommitted to adhering to our strong company of choice strategy aligned withClients, Talent and Environment. This is a key opportunity for an individualwho has a demonstrated background in business development, clientrelations, and the delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and/orstormwater projects; ideally within the local market. Key responsibilitiesinclSupport the client development process and identify business opportunities andpartnerships aligned with our Colorado and Rockies Area strategy;Facilitate corporate, regional and local communications and initiatives,including talent development;Develop and execute a key talent plan, in partnership with the regionalleadership team;Provide marketing and technical leadership during the procurement andexecution of key projects;Lead project teams in planning, design, and construction of municipalstormwater conveyance, water/wastewater treatment, and supply projectsParticipate in BC's QA/QC, risk management and project management processes;Execute sales plan in collaboration with CSMs, Regional Leadership, andmarketing staff. Assist and/or lead top business development pursuits;Exhibits leadership core competencies (emotional intelligence,communication, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and,business acumen)Network and collaborate with other local leaders to support best practices;Supervise and coordinate the work of others on projects including remotediscipline staff to ensure proper and timely execution on projects; and,Maintain a positive organizational health and safety culture.Desired Skills and Experience:S. degree in engineering or environmental science field (Civil,Environmental Engineering, etc.); M.S. degree in related field with afocus on wastewater and water preferred;Professional registration in Colorado, or the credentials to obtainregistration in a timely manner;10 or more years of increasingly-responsible experience in businessdevelopment, planning and operations managementExperience with water/wastewater planning, design, and constructionincluding scope, schedule and budget management;Previous supervisory experience with strong written and verbal communicationskills;Ability to successfully manage clients and projects in a collaborative fashionand interface with Brown and Caldwell's local, regional, and nationalpractitioners, as well as to mentor junior staff;Self-starter, results-oriented and be able to work under tight deadlines;Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and publicpresentations experience; and,Collaborative mindset with commitment to the company's focus on employeebalance and belongingAbout Brown and CaldwellHeadquartered in Walnut Creek, Calif., Brown and Caldwell is afull-service environmental engineering and construction firm with 52 officesand 1,700+ professionals across North America and the Pacific.
