Universal Forest Products Truss Designer in Lafayette, Colorado
The Designer I is responsible for the accurate design of roof and floor trusses, walls and components for single family and commercial projects.
Works under general supervision; exercises little discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis.
- Design metal plate connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software.
- Optimize designs for maximum efficiency.
- Review orders, layouts and data files for accuracy
- Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting
- Performs other duties as required.
- Must be able to work onsite.
