Lineage Logistics is currently searching for an Industrial Engineerto join our growing team!
The Industrial Engineer role is responsible for planning customer volumes, labor planning, equipment planning, process redesign, and overall building industrial engineering responsibilities. This key role leads coordination between the operations, sales, maintenance and HR teams. This individual must lead with Lineage’s values and lean principles to help create a great place to work environment and maximizing performance on safety, quality and cost.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer profile management process owner
Customer scope management within commercial agreements
Direct customer contact for future planning
Analyze customer demand patterns, product profiles, and building capacity to support building throughput modeling and scheduling
Analyze and plan work force requirements and utilization models
Develop shift schedules, peak planning, and provide guidance to HR for recruiting needs and timing
Labor Management system process owner with the ability to train members of the leadership team on effectively using a Labor Management system.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Planning
Process Analysis, Design and Improvement
Design and improve space requirements and workflow for optimum efficiency and safety.
Institute process improvements resulting in a positive impact on cycle time, cost, quality while reducing non-value-added activities.
Facilitate the development of corrective action and preventative action plans to resolve internal quality issues and/or improve quality and efficiency.
Slotting optimization process owner
Research, justify and ensure timely implementation of capital expenditure projects along with using other techniques to improve utilization of working capital.
Coordinate maintenance of Workforce Management System (WMS) related activities such as product master, SKU velocity and pick profile to drive efficiencies.

Fast paced work environment with, in and around industrial machinery.
Cold storage environment. Warehouse bays are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below zero in certain areas). Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company).
Noise level varies and at times and can be loud.
Bachelor’s Degree required, a Master’s Degree is preferred in Industrial or Process Engineering.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter.
Strong organizational skills.
Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
Able to work independently and employ effective time management skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Expert level Microsoft Excel user. Must be able to demonstrate ability to create pivot tables, pivot charts, perform v-lookups, create formulas and visually represent data.
Technical knowledge of feasibility concepts, process control, quality specifications, and continuous improvement methods.
Must be able and willing to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
