Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources CADD Designer in our Greenwood Village, CO, office to assist with a wide range of challenging stormwater and public infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity for an individual to join a team of energetic, highly engaged professionals in Dewberry’s growing Water Resources Service Line. The ideal candidate will have a prominent role on our team, strong communication skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with Engineers and other design professionals in the design and production of contract documents for valued clients.
Prepare base files, plan exhibit, construction documentation, and detailed design drawings for an array of water resources projects for municipal and quasi-governmental clients;
Assist in the production of contract drawing submittals while interfacing and coordinating with various engineering disciplines, technicians, and other design specialists;
Assist with review and coordination of technical specifications;
Conduct QA/QC and constructability reviews of projects;
Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards across the Water Resources Service Line;
Perform other duties as necessary.
High School Diploma
Completion of Engineering Technology Associate’s or 4-year degree in an engineering field of study is preferred;
A minimum of five (5) years of design experience on stormwater projects;
Demonstrated ability with current versions AutoCAD, and Civil3D; BlueBeam
Ability to apply theories, principles, concepts and practices of civil and environmental engineering to the design and construction of stormwater infrastructure;
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be a self-starter who is detail-oriented with experience collaborating across engineering disciplines.
High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.
