Position Overview:The Business Development Manager, Mining and Material Handling, will be astrategic focused individual responsible for identifying and developing newbusiness opportunities within the US market. This role will be based out ofour Denver, CO office but extensive travel throughout the US, as well asoverseas travel will required.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and maintain business relationships with clients in the Mining andMaterial Handling industries and marketplace.Identify and develop new projects, revamps, services and technical studiesthroughout the US market for thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions.Evaluation of tenders and participation to the development of biddingstrategies.Act as one of the contact for clients during project development, proposalphases and after sales management.Develop technical concepts in close cooperation with the Proposal Manager andthe Engineering team in order to respond to clients' requests.Actively participate in conferences, meetings with clients, committeemeetings and delivering presentations.Assist and support the technical and commercial bid preparation, togetherwith the Proposal Manager.Provide support to the Proposal Manager and Commercial Project Management teamduring contract negotiations.Required Education:A Bachelors' Degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering,Construction Management or similar is required or, alternatively,extensive experience in a Business Development role can be taken in lieu.
