Company a world-class aerial adventure course provider, is looking for aStructural Engineer.JOB DESCRIPTION: Structural Engineer with PE StampJob Summary: This person is responsible for accurately engineering,preparing calculations packages, and stamping plan sets collaborativelyproduced with Bonsai's design department for aerial adventure systems andother structures and/or components as needed. Additionally, the structuralengineer shall provide preliminary analysis and provide conclusions which helpthe company assess the feasibility of moving forward with proposed projects,set accurate timelines for designs, and will allow the company to takemost, if not all, engineering functions in-house.Job Responsibilities: Provides engineering oversight of all phases of the design process toachieve efficiency in the engineering phase of design Stamps all final plan-sets Prepares presentable/deliverable calculations package to accompany allstamped plan sets Maintains a firm understanding of operational expectations and industrystandards to ensure accurate and consistent delivery of products. Ensures a thorough and accurate engineering analysis of each site pursuedis performed to fully understands all factors associated with the project,and assist in the development of a timeline for the design phase of theproject Responsible for oversight of code reviews to ensure the permitting processgoes smoothly Acts as engineering support to the installation department forproblem-solving of issues such as anchor stability, environmental factors,utility conflicts, plan discrepancies and other issues that may arise. In conjunction with state and national body regulation officials asnecessary, perform commissioning services via on site review of allstructures to confirm consistency with the plan set Collaborate with various levels of management and team members to developproject data as needed Interacts with municipalities in the permitting process as necessary Requires execution of civil/structural activities for multiple smallprojects simultaneously.Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Professional Engineer license and stamp (Multiple States preferred) 5+ years as the Engineer of Record on large-scale projects Willingness to be the lead and primary stamping engineer on cutting-edgeprojects Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Solidworks Proficient in structural analysis software e.g. RISA-3D, GT STRUDL, STAAD Experience working with concrete, steel, wood, or engineered productsfor structures Complete understanding of civil/structural design Experience with development of project scope, work hour estimates,project budgets, schedules and all civil/structural construction deliverables Excellent with Microsoft Office programs Detail-oriented, highly organized, and excellent analytical thinking skills Excellent customer service skills; ability to build and maintain positiveprofessional relationships Strong and positive team player who is a self-starter and can workindependently Position is located at Company's HQ office in Grand Junction, CO, buttravel is expected to the sites during planning and execution.This is a full-time position and will include an extremely competitive basesalary and benefits.
