We are currently seeking a Project Monitor/ Engineer IIin Golden, CO .This position supports the Department of Energy (DOE) office of EnergyEfficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) in project management activitiesincluding, but not limited to, Funding Opportunity Announcements,project management and technical support for competitively-selectedcooperative agreements.Support involves day to day interactions with internal parties such aslegal, contracting, NEPA, and communications; as well as externalcommunication with project recipients in academia, private industry, andNational Laboratories. Multiple positions are anticipated to support projectsfocused on various renewable energy and energy efficiency technologiesincluding Bioenergy, Wind, Water Power, Geothermal, BuildingsTechnologies, etcAssesses program potential for energy savings and design programs that capturemaximum savings to the public, private and Government sectors.Works with energy efficiency program sponsors to evaluate the effectiveness ofprograms and portfolios. Analyzes respective EERE Program(s) energy use,markets, industries, and technologies such as analyzing utility and/orresidential sector analysis and markets, or engineering analysis and markets.Performs data collection, studies and analysis on industry trends, utilityand/or residential energy use, production, import/export,employment, data collection and analysis, building energy use andefficiency studies, energy technology and/or market studies.Analyzes energy resources, markets, technology research needs anddeveloping respective EERE Program(s) research strategiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Science5-10 years of related experienceProfessional attitudeStrong attention to detailHighly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPointExcellent communication skills - verbal and writtenAuthorized to work in the United States with no restrictions; U.S. Citizenor Permanent US Resident.Preferred:Familiar with renewable and/or energy efficiency technologiesProject management experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter, an ability to work both independently and as part of a highlydynamic collaborative teamAbility to actively track and monitor government funded research anddevelopment projectsAbility to balance multiple long and short term projects and competingprioritiesBoston Government Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Actionemployer.
