Apex Systems is seeking an Electrical Technician for a large company locatedin Golden, CO. As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible forperforming a wide variety of functions associated with all manufacturingoperations including production of parts, components, electronic orelectro-mechanical assembly operations on subassemblies and final assembliesper established standard workmanship and operating procedures. Please applydirectly to the posting if you are interested.Title: Electrical TechnicalLocation: Golden, COLength: 1 year contractRequired Experience:Experience wiring of electro-mechanical assemblies of control systems anddrive systems.1 year experience using material handling equipment.Ability to read and understand electrical wiring schematics, assembly layoutdrawings, and ladder diagramsAbility to assemble and wire electro-mechanical devices, components, andsubassemblies from schematics and layout drawings.Job Duties:Working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks as well as performingrework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components,subassemblies and final assemblies.Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved inthe shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts,supplies and equipment.Follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, componentinstallation and harnessing on assembly units.Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions,layouts or defined plans.Performs adjustments and rework as needed to meet functional design, qualityand customer specifications.Performs visual and mechanical inspection of units.Works from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform productiontasksPerforms the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping,receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies andequipmentMaintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.Education: RequiredHigh school diploma requiredHighly desired:Lifts heavy items up to 35 pounds.Familiarity with safety practices.Ability to work overtime as required.Knowledge of National Electric Code and Standard Industrial AssemblyWorkmanship Standards is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.Experience with inventory management business systems such as IFS and SAP isVEVRAA Federal ContractorWe request Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of ourlocations within the state.We are an equal opportunity employer.
