Waters Chemistry Production Technician III in Golden, Colorado

This position will join a team which has responsibilities for manufacturing and production including the inventory control, labelling, packaging, kitting, transporting, and Quality Control of Waters/ERA branded products. It includes completing documentation and review to meet Waters/ERA specifications. Quality and attention to detail are top priority.

Production

  • Production/manufacturing of products to documented specifications.

  • Quality assurance testing (bench chemistry) of manufactured products.

  • Packaging, labeling, organization and storage of Work in Progress (WIP).

  • Documentation & completion of work orders to meet production/delivery deadlines.

  • Organization, staging and inventory control of finished goods via Great Plains Inventory System.

  • Documentation (Certificate of Analysis) creation and review for produced products.

  • Assisting Laboratory Chem Techs/Chemists.

  • Order picking, review and packing of finished goods for delivery to customer.

  • Cleaning, Storage & Calibration of laboratory glassware.

  • Assist in other areas when required.

Quality

  • Responsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specifications by ensuring proper manufacturing, testing, packaging, labelling.

  • Accuracy in completion of required production documents.

  • Focus on process control to avoid customer impacted Service Requests.

  • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.

  • Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs to avoid variation in process.

  • Assist team in updating and improving processes and updating SOPs documents.

  • Assist team in constant improvement and solutions to problems/issues while increasing efficiency.

  • BS./B.A. in Chemistry or Science related field preferred. High School Education or GED required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.

  • Ability to work on ones own initiative as well as in a Team environment.

  • Ability to work in a culture with productivity expectations and output goals.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problem solving.

  • Ability to review work and find errors.

  • Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently as well as non-routine tasks.

  • Must be able to work with Chemicals in a laboratory hood.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

  • Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Experience with Great Plains preferred but not required.
