Waters Technologies Corporation Chemistry Production Technician II in Golden, Colorado
This position will join a team which has responsibilities for production,assembly, inventory control, labelling, kitting, transporting, andQuality Control of products. It includes completing documentation and reviewto meet Waters Analytical Standards and Reagents (ASR) specifications.Quality and attention to detail are top priority. Assembly/ProductionFulfilling production/assembly orders in SAP to meet customer delivery dates.Kitting and transportation of Waters ASR Kits (finished goods) to meeton-time delivery.Documentation creation and peer review of production, assembly and kittingprocess.Assisting Laboratory Chem Techs/Chemists during manufacturing.Packaging and flame sealing of Work in Progress (WIP).Labelling, organization and storage of Work in Progress (WIP).Basic production/manufacturing of products to documented specifications.Inventory control and goods movement of WIP products via SAP.Preparation and transportation of finished goods orders via SAP.Assist in other areas when required.QualityResponsible for ensuring 100% compliance to specification by ensuring properpackaging, labelling and documentation of final production/assembled products.Focus on process control to avoid customer impacted Service Requests.Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.Review others' work to prevent errors from escaping.Responsible for following written work procedures and SOPs to avoid variationin process.Assist team in updating and improving processes and updating SOPs documents.Assist team in constant improvement and solutions to problems/issues whileincreasing efficiency.High School Education or GED required. College coursework or degree in theSciences is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detail, organization and ability to work quickly without errors.Ability to work with your hands requiring dexterity to handle small containersand packaging materials.Ability to work on ones own initiative as well as in a Team environment.Ability to work in a culture with productivity expectations and quantityoutput goals.Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to utilize Lean methods for problemsolving.Ability to review work and find peer errors.Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs.Must be willing to perform repetitive routine tasks consistently as well asnon-routine tasks.Familiar with various Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).Experience with SAP preferred but not required.Waters Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
