Position Summary: The CAD Manager builds and oversee the CAD department at Centerline Solutions. The individual in this position reviews and coordinates all aspects of design for cell tower builds, modifications and maintenance as required per project specifications and demand, and monitors and meets accuracy requirements and timely completion of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: -The essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position are as follows:

Lead, plan and setup/ CAD production
Implement and enforce CAD Standards
Organize and maintain CAD Files
Setup CAD design files
Enforce CAD Standards with staff
Coordinate new software implementation with IT Department
Provide technical support for CAD Software (Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3d, etc.)
Train and support office CAD staff
Provide support for plotting and electronic submissions
Maintain plotters (Inventory and supplies)
Coordinate with print shops/vendors for project submissions
Electronically submit projects to internal clients
Scheduling drawing completion
Coordinate Customization of CAD Programs
Interact on project standards coordination with clients
Ensure CAD vendor management
Other duties as identified and assigned.
Competencies, Education, and Experience:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Revit
Strong leadership and management skills
Demonstrated attention-to-detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Results oriented
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality
Coaching, collaboration, communication, conflict management, delegation, motivating others, managing performance, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to building relationships promoting teamwork

Strong analytical skills and the ability to determine what is needed to design and complete a project on time.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of telecommunications industry, regulatory, codes and standards a plus
CAD management experience preferred.
Training in computer aided drafting
8+ years of related experience in engineering consulting or 5+ years in the construction environment
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3d
Detailed oriented 3d modeling experience.
Travel:- This position is generally expected to require minimal overnight travel. The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit talk or hear, and will occasionally stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
