Informationabout Agilent is available at* Provides technical expertise and support in various environmental,health and safety (EHS) disciplines with a concentration on industrialhygiene.* Provides expert knowledge and advice to develop and support variousenvironmental, health, and safety programs.* Initiates innovative EHS program solutions, designs, and developmentconcepts.* Provides work product reports and conclusions periodically as required byDirector of EHS/WPS for Colorado.* Assists with the management of relationships and performance of vendors,as needed.* Technical specialist to group and business level managers, as needed.* Knowledge of environmental and health and safety law and regulations andthe ability to apply such knowledge to specific situations and design programsin compliance with such law/regulation.* Technical knowledge including but not limited to chemistry, biology,anatomy/physiology, process safety management and environmental health.* Skill in managing various projects; must be able to use individualdiscretion in completing work assignments; while assisting the group inestablishing priorities, setting standards and working collectively toaccomplish deadlines and objectives.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to provide professionally written reports in a timely manner.* Knowledge of GMP compliance as it applies to assigned tasks.* Knowledge of and skill in using computer software and hardwareapplications, including Microsoft products and the Internet.* Results oriented and strong business acumen* High emotional intelligence to deal appropriately with emotive andsensitive topics* Strong supplier management skills.* Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.* Excellent communication and influencing skills.* Strong negotiation skills with a capacity to influence outcomes.* Good balance of strategic and tactical skills.* Able to operate and collaborate within a matrix organization.* Manage complex and multiple priorities taking measured risks andappropriate corrective action.* Responsible for coordinating activities with other departments includingManufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Assurance,Validation, Quality Control, etc.* Ability to interface with customer personnel, auditors and regulatoryauthorities, as needed, to communicate on CIH topics and status of WPSmaintained systems.* Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured projects.Leads thedesign/ delivery of new programs/ processes/ functionalsolutions; is the key technical contributor.
