Leprino Foods Manager I, Nutrition in Fort Morgan, Colorado

We are seeking a Manager I, Nutrition for our Fort Morgan, Colorado plant.

We Ask Of You To:

  • Lead and manage a production department at an efficient cost with the expected customer service and quality that maintains market competitiveness and further enhances cost efficiency/product marketability through the production of dairy food products.

  • Develop, monitor, and analyze budget results, quality efficiency, and labor to determine if standards are being met.

  • Provide daily coordination of production schedules between production department, pretreatment, warehouse, and maintenance to assure maximum production.

  • Ensure that department employees' development plans and required training are completed, and safety programs are effectively implemented.

  • Build an effective team through the engagement of individuals and the team as a whole.

  • Drive continuous improvement through the involvement of employees while ensuring a safe work environment, quality and customer service expectations are met, and preventing problems before they happen.

You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a Dairy Science, Food Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of progressive leadership experience

  • 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing

  • Proficient computer knowledge, with familiarity or ability to learn SAP or other manufacturing computer computer systems.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Dairy/Cheese Manufacturing Experience Preferred.

  • Direct leadership experience managing other exempt employees.
