SLR International Corporation Senior Technician in Fort Collins, Colorado

SynopsisSLR International Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Technician with atleast 5 years of previous experience in source testing, continuous emissionmonitoring, and ambient/meteorological instrumentation, to join ourgrowing Fort Collins operations.This position will help manage and support current air measurements andmonitoring programs, emission measurements, and ambient and meteorologicalmonitoring, with a broad range of field projects and emerging technologies.This hourly position requires an onsite presence at our Fort Collins,Colorado office and offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic andgrowing international environmental consulting organization.Required Technical Skills and Experience5 or more years of experience in source testing, continuous emissionmonitoring, and ambient/meteorological instrumentationHigh school diploma or GED requiredVocational degree or credentials in Technology or related area of study, orcommensurate work experienceSafety training (e.g., OSHA, MSHA)Electrical and mechanical knowledgeSpreadsheet calculation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of Chemistry basicsUnderstanding of consulting business and best practicesProficient with Microsoft Office suite of software (Excel, Word, etc.)Valid driver's license and ability to travel by airplane and car throughoutthe U.S.Ability to safely and comfortably work at heights and lift heavy objectsPersonal Attributes and TraitsDetail oriented, strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skillsTroubleshooting and problem-solving proficiencySelf-motivated and willing to learn and grow as a consultantWilling and eager to learn new skillsAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management skillsAbility to interface with clients and internal stakeholdersResponsibilitiesSupport emission measurements and ambient/meteorological monitoring programsAssist with current and near-term ambient and meteorological source testingprojectsApply electrical and mechanical knowledge to field work assignmentsParticipate in a variety of field assignmentsWork with clients from a variety of industriesOperate ambient/meteorological measurement and testing instrumentsPrepare reports, spreadsheets, test results, and other work products asrequestedPhysical DemandsField work and travel are a key part of this position.
