As the Sr. Packaging Designer, you willdevelop creative concepts and innovative ideas supporting customer engagingproduct packaging. Keep readingThe successful candidate will be able to translate a conceptual idea into anengaging graphic/visual, as well as have an understanding of productionand pre-press. In addition, you must demonstrate a strong understanding oftypography, including kerning/tracking, leading, font identificationand positive/negative space. You must be able to work well in a teamenvironment, have excellent communication skills and be able to take andgive creative direction. From innovation andengineering to community and culture - growing to give is at the heart ofeveryFor more information visit Lead work with designers, engineering and marketing to createpackaging designs for a variety of product lines Manage the review of project schedules and status in collaboration withPackaging Project Managers Review business need cases and align creation and revision of packagingmaterials accordingly Leads cross-departmental interactions such as meetings, informationalexchanges, and presentations for the team Lead brainstorming, conception, and idea generation via team collaboration Collaborate with other departments to design packaging materials acrossmultiple brands that meet the needs of the business and maintain brandintegrit Interpret and develop designs based on packaging briefs Create eye-catching designs and images to display the Otter Products' brands Recognize, research and discuss design trends, style, andpackaging innovations, and translate them into effective design work Works to provide assignment direction, answers questions, and worksissues escalated by junior team members; acts as mentor to junior teammembers. Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safetypolicies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe workingenvironment Other duties as requiredQualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Graphic Design, Art, VisualCommunication degree preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may beconsidered, for a total of eight years' experience in lieu of degree. Minimum four years of design related experience required. Print orpackaging design experience preferred.
