Grow alongside the best in your industry to enrich your careerpath by making a positive impact.As an intern in the Water Services group, you can expect to carry out avariety of different tasks related to water supply, wastewater and waterresource management. The Water Services group scope of services includeswater supply investigation, wastewater, water resource planning,hydrologic/hydraulic/water quality modeling, environmental review,facility operations and maintenance, monitoring and reporting, stormwaterpermitting, field investigations and construction documents, andconstruction management. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:construction observation, QA/QC, surveying, drafting, soil and watersampling, computer modeling, data entry, assistance with preparation ofconstruction plans and specifications, and communicating with clients. Thewide variety of tasks you'll be involved in makes every day interesting byexpanding your knowledge as you gain field and office experience.Our company prides itself on providing employees a workplace that allows themto thrive in addition to an excellent compensation and benefit package; weare always looking for qualified personnel.Qualifications:Currently pursuing or graduated with a minimum of a four year Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering, environmental science, or related field froman ABET accredited university.Experience with software programs including HydroCAD, AutoCAD, Civil3D,GIS, and the Microsoft suite of softwate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Relative office or field experience. Examples: Construction, Surveying,Field Sampling, Drafting, etc.Strong communication skills.Customer service experience/skills are desired.Responsibilities:At Wenck, the responsibility of our interns is to first and foremost respectand assist our clients by being responsive and reliable employees.
