From innovation andengineering to community and culture - growing to give is at the heart ofeveryFor more information visit otterproducts.com - http://www.otterproducts.com/.Responsibilities* Oversee activities of designers and technicians by scheduling workassignments, setting priorities and directing the work of the assigned teamto meet goals and objectives as defined for the department* Create design packages and oversees and approves design work by assignedteam to meet all customer and business requirements and needs* Responsible for the review and approval of concepts and designs* Provide support to other departments and company initiatives* Plan and assign resources as appropriate to deliver to design andengineering schedule commitments* Lead root cause analysis and corrective action on technical problems* Identify staff development and training needs* Negotiate design requests with product owners to ensure clear goalposts ofassignment* Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader inall safety program initiatives* Other duties as requiredQualifications* Bachelor's degree required.
