Tehama, LLC is an equal opportunity employer andenNow, about you...Tehama, LLC is actively seeking a Water Program Environmental Specialist fora position at Fort Carson, Colorado.Water Program Environmental Specialist will provide technical services insupport of the Fort Carson/Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site (FTC/PCMS)compliance water programs. Tasks include field data collection of surface andgroundwater, PWS/SDWA support, downrange PWS water well permitting andmanagement, review/update water program management plans, and EPOtraining suppThe Water Program Environmental Specialist will also provide technicalassistance for the FTC/PCMS compliance water programs to include:* Monthly water sampling and monitoring reports* Wastewater by-pass and release investigations and reports* Water/wastewater permit application preparation, review, and coordination* Water/wastewater reporting information management and updating* Water system classification determinations* Advise and expertise on the Net-Zero Water ProgramThe Water Program Environmental Specialist will provide support to thefollowing water rights requirements:* Develop electronic "Documentation Folder" and current "scorecard"for each water right* Prepare an "Opportunity Assessment" for each water right* Assess a disposition strategy for each water right* Develop prioritized action plans for each water right Job RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience: (included but not limited to)* Self motivated individual with strong, organizational, problem solvingand research abilities* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Advanced knowledge of and ability to make water system classificationdeterminations* Willingness to work under varied weather conditions* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Advanced knowledge of water/wastewater permitting and management* Knowledgeable in CWA, SDWA, and Colorado specific water related regulations* Must be able to support water related rights and application to Ft. Carsonand PCMS* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills (bothoral and written), adaptability, and ability to work with engineers,planners, agencies, and the public are required* Knowledge of backflow prevention systems* Meet security requirements.
