What You Will Do:

As a Water Resources Engineer in one of our Colorado Offices, you will:

  • Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity and ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets.

  • You may also formulate project approaches and support the proposal process for Water Resource projects.

A Project Engineer for Water Resources will

  • Work independently and as part of a team on complex water resources analysis and design projects for both public and private clients.

  • The successful candidate will work on and manage components of the drainage design on multi-disciplinary teams to meet project budgets, project scopes, and client expectations.

  • Support our private development, municipal, transportation, and planning projects in multiple offices as needed.

  • The successful candidate will know how to cultivate internal client relationships to successfully fulfill this role.

  • You will participate in business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities: participate in client meetings and networking events; cultivate client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise and geographic regions; identify, suggest, and support securing projects from existing clients.

Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted, the complexity of tasks performed, and direct supervision received.

What You Will Bring:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an accredited school, registration as a professional engineer (or the ability to obtain registration within six months) and

  • 5+ years water resources experience.

  • Our preferred candidate would have experience in managing water resources projects, clients and staff in Colorado

  • A history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences,

  • A positive attitude, as well as a willingness to learn.

  • The ability and desire to develop an understanding of and anticipate client’s needs.

  • A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required.
