Join ourteam! As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertiseto research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improvecutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex systemarchitectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them fromoperational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation,and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you arein charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through thepAt SNC's ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS) team we are a leading mannedand unmanned aircraft systems integrator for high-performance intelligence,surveillance and reconnaissance, and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutionsto customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs toconsistently exceed expectations and provide a turnkey approach to enable ourcustomers to focus on their mission.Must-haves:Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or otherrelated discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.Previous experience with solar array designPrevious experience with solar array assembly and testExperience working with subcontractors and vendorsDemonstrated success meeting aggressive development schedulesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an excitingcapability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing anew multi-domain system.Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering designevaluations for a diverse mission where everyone's input matters.Experience working on multi-disciplinary design and development teams.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance requiredPreferred:An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security ClearanceMasters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or relateddiscipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant aerospace experienceExperience with a variety of types of solar cellsDirect satellite experienceExperience with holistic space power systems designKnowledge of space environment and its impacts on system performanceExcellent communication skills (written and verbal).
