Amazing benefits, company culture, andfull relocation package await the most qualified candidates.Position Summary:This position's primary role is to provide permanent design services andconstruction engineering services to our client's projects. Projectinvolvement can be requested at any stage of a project's life cycle. Uniqueto this position are tasks that involve on-site pavement mixture productionprocess control and quality assurance oversight. Typical project deliverablesinclude design reports, memorandums, and letters. These deliverablesprovide technical analysis, technical interpretations, and professionalrecommendations; all of these project deliverables are subject to ourdivision's Design Quality Management Plan. Pavement Engineering isconsidered to be a "specialty" engineering service and as such has highvisibility with Project upper management where high professionalism is alwaysexpected. Project related travel is projected to be from 25 to 50% and canbe anywhere in North America.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Highway Pavement Design (AASHTO '93, MEPDG)* Pavement Materials (Asphalt, Concrete, Base Courses, Subgrades)* Pavement forensics/research regarding pavement performance* Developing Pavement related construction specifications* Interpreting Pavement Materials quality/process control data* Proportioning and reviewing pavement mixes* Interpret/learn/apply client specific design methodologies,specifications, and standards* Knowledge of working in roadway traffic-controlled work zones and/orconstruction project sites is highly desiredRequirements:* 11+ years of directly applicable experience* B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
