Leidos Quality Assurance Manager in ENGLEWOOD, Colorado
Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to support the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). The Quality Assurance Manager reports directly to the Program Manager and performs the direct supervision of the day-to-day activities of the personnel within the Quality Assurance group. The manager will direct and lead a team in the technical disciplines of Performance Assurance, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and Risk & Opportunity management. Primary focus of this position is to lead the process to manage a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program that is compliant to ISO 9001-2015 and ensures that service delivery meets or exceeds performance requirements established by the customer. This includes the control of documentation, control of records, internal audits including procedures and oversight, identification of corrective measures for and prevention of nonconforming services.
The ASC is a dynamic and complex program that performs operations and logistics in support of science on the Antarctic Continent and two maritime research vessels. Responsibilities include personnel management, CAM/budget responsibilities, preparation and delivery of specified contract deliverables and scheduling of resources. Will interact and collaborate with other ASC functional departments to ensure program milestones are met within the established quality standards.
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12 years of technical and/or management experience, preferably on U.S. Government contracts, Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Experience leading change and process efficiency thru Lean Six-Sigma principles, experience leading ISO9001/AS9100 compliant quality management systems, demonstrated experience leading large groups of employees, and experience with remote/austere environments, and/or complex logistical challenges.
