Job SummaryAir Methods Corp Quality Assurance Inspectors preforms Returns to Service ofarticles and aircraft maintained, inspected, altered or repaired by theRepair Station. Quality Assurance Inspectors ensure company maintainedaircraft and articles meet conformity. In addition, Quality AssuranceInspectors are responsible to ensure Repair Station procedures are observed.Quality Assurance Inspectors are charged to perform surveillance of repairstation facilities and auditing functions to including the AMC ApprovedVendors List.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: To perform Preliminary, In-process, Incoming Receiving, HiddenDamage and Final Inspections during the course an aircraft or article beingmaintained under a work order within the repair station. Perform Audits and repair station surveillance. Ensure Shelf life expiration and tool calibrations processes are followed. Ensuring Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals procedures are followed. Ensure Return to service coordination with OCC & MCAS is observed. Scheduling of CDL Inspections and recorded as need be. Coordinate with FAA & Engineering on approved data for alterations andrepairs. Regulatory and Compliance documents are utilized for maintaining aircraftand articles. Ensure scrap procedures for life limited parts and unserviceable parts areobserved. Filing of Service Difficulty Reports and Suspected Unapproved Partprocedures are followed. Inaccordance with applicable laws, Air Methods will provide reasonableaccommodations that do not create an undue burden so disabled employees mayperform the essential functions of the position.Education & Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college ortechnical school in Specialized Technology (Aviation) and five to eightyears' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience 5 years Military experience, 5 years OEM, 5 years industry (AirMedical preferred) or equivalent. Airbus EC135/AS350/EC130/AS365/BK117/EC145, Bell407/429/430/412, Leonardo 109/119, Pilatus PC-12, and TextronAviation (Beech) King Air preferred. Able to understand, Read and Write English. Be certificated under CRFpart 65. Previous Quality Assurance experience preferred. Previous CFR Part 145 experience also preferred.Skills Familiar with Coode of Federal Regulations part 145 & part 43. Background in Powerplant/Component/Avionics/Structures repair,alteration, and maintenance. Proficient at Inspection and training techniques.Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPointand Outlook.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe & Powerplant Limitations.
