Job SummaryResponsible to maintain quality standards by approval of incoming materials,in-process inspections, and finished products using visual, inspectionequipment, tools, and quality knowledge. Entry of data and maintaining ofrecords to ensure compliance to regulations and certifications.Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Marks parts (details, assemblies); includes ink stamp, laseretching, and bag-and-tag methods Employ protective handling techniques (e.g. foam packaging) to avoidpart damage Perform incoming receiving inspection of materials, parts, and assemblies. Perform in-process and final inspections of parts and assemblies toEngineering drawings and specifications Initiate Non-Conformance Reports for discrepant products and maintains NCRquarantine area Maintain scrap product (e.g. tags, quarantine, log) and renderproduct unusable prior to disposal Help maintain tool and equipment calibration Assist in maintenance of the Inspection Quality Records system Other Duties as assigned Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent travelingSubject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendanceis an essential function of the position.
