DISH Engineering Manager, White Label in Englewood, Colorado

What you’ll be doing

As the White Label Product Development Manager, you will be managing the technology roadmap, certification requirements, and test execution for DISH’s white-label device portfolio. You will:

  • Serve as the product development program lead for all white-label products, transcending business and technical topics including schedules, requirements compliance and waivers, device certification, value proposition alignment, and lifecycle management to empower the Android Product Development team;

  • Be part of a larger Retail Wireless Product Development team which validates products from concept through production, working with internal and external customers.


  • Secure transition from Retail Wireless Portfolio and brand-specific Device Marketing teams to ensure roadmap white-label devices are efficiently incorporated into the active product development roadmap;

  • Manage relationship with white-label ODMs on a day-to-day basis, communicating progress on product development and certification activities, coordinating bidirectional feedback to questions or requests between DISH and the ODM;

  • Broker scope and budget for any technology trial activities, negotiate support with the device OEM, as needed;

  • Facilitate requirements publication to white-label ODMs and product feature lockdown against specifications, including device technology, marketing/brand, feature integration, and network;

  • Manage any non- and partial-compliance waivers, negotiating and tracking scope and timeline until retirement;

  • Make strong contributions to the product and feature roadmap;

  • Engage with peers in developing the roadmap for new technologies and capabilities;

  • Develop test tools, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver best-in-class product solutions.


  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business (or equivalent) with proficiency in the English language;

  • 6+ years of experience in mobile product development management for smartphones, tablets and wearables including product management, feature and offering integration, new product introduction, and lifecycle management;

  • 6+ years of experience in mobile device certification processes including industry leading practices (e.g., regulatory requirements, standards roadmaps);

  • 3+ years of technical leadership including new feature development and roadmap management;

  • Prior experience with white-label product development and launch is required.

    Compensation: $98,776.00/Yr. - $123,470.00/Yr.
