As an Aviation CAD technician you’ll have the chance to prepare drawings and sketches via Civil3D and other design platforms, using appropriate design criteria, compliance to FAA standards and technical manuals Working with other members of the team, you’ll coordinate designs and be viewed as a key resource in meeting our client’s project needs. During your time with us, you will Apply your expert technical project management skills and technical knowledge on a broad range of aviation design projects, as well as, resolve complex technical issues as they arise and help to define the technical standards and specifications around which other aviation team members operate If you’re up for the challenge, we’ve been looking for someone just like you.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in checking own work and coordinating work with related disciplines as well as the other CAD Technicians on the team

  • Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in discipline-specific 3D modeling tools, particularly Civil 3D

  • High School degree

  • 2+ years of relevant design experience using Civil 3D

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Trade/Technical School program, Associates Degree, four year degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to demonstrate experience using FAA and/or DoD criteria in regards to aviation design
