Job DescriptionTRC is a national engineering consulting and construction management firm thatprovides integrated services to the environmental, energy, andinfrastructure markets. TRC serves a broad range of clients in government andindustry, implementing complex projects from initial concept to delivery andoperation. We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer (PE) to join our growingCivil Engineering Services team in Durango, CO. The ideal candidate willhave experience in design, construction and project management initiativeswith infrastructure, water/wastewater, stormwater, or treatmentplants. This position has the unique ability to partner with and learn fromsome of the best engineers, project managers, and other technical staff in the Ability to execute engineering best practices on a wide variety of projectsfor a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development,bidding and procurement, construction management, project management,RFI's/RFPs/Submittals, and client meetings Assist Project Managers with construction management tasks such as materialsubmittal reviews and coordination with Contractors. Assist Project Managers in the production of project plans,specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memorandums and costestimates Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with datacollection, compilation and assessment for infrastructure projects. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees,cities/clients, and other public agencies.RequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline5 to 10 years of related experience in municipal or land developmentengineeringActive Professional Engineer License Required or in the process of completingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be flexible, well organized, accountable and dependablePhysically able to perform work in the fieldPreferred:Active Professional Engineer License, with the ability to transfer tomultiple states via reciprocity.Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepareengineering and design documents (examples include software such asAutoCAD, MicroStation, and GIS)Specializations in Industrial Wastewater, Hydraulics and Hydrology,and/or Construction Management.
